qd Solutions developed and maintains a proprietary tool called the PharmaMedia Analysis (PMA)™, which is used to help project a targeted patient population's response to a television, radio, or newspaper campaign. The PMA™, in conjunction with market-specific media data from sources such as Simmons, Mediamark, and SQAD, enables us to build and implement a comprehensive media plan with market-defined budget scenarios and a study-specific buying strategy.
Once the media plan is set, we utilize Nielsen and Arbitron ratings data to negotiate and place the optimum media buy to meet the recruitment goals. Throughout the media run, the campaign’s desired call-to-action response (i.e. phone calls, web hits, emails, etc.) is monitored and analyzed on a continual basis. The media plan can then be adjusted as the campaign progresses, increasing or decreasing response rates to accommodate the needs of the investigative sites or the study sponsor.
